Bestival Album Review 2006

Posted on October 17, 2006. Filed under: Bestival Music, Bestival Photos |

If you were there it brings back the spirit of being there,  if not, you suddenly realise what you’ve missed.

The Bestival as a Festival is not purely about music; however it is the life-force of the event that holds everything together.  Bestival The Album allows you to truly appreciate and absorb the music that it was not always possible to do at the event because of the diversity of people and other attractions.

From the up and coming Young Knives to the truly classic John Martyn this album caters for everyone.  The many talented artists contained within this compilation from the raw through to the sophisticated electronics provide the listener with a truly exciting experience and once this album has been heard we are sure that next years bookings for the event will soar

Whether you are young or just young at heart everyone will find something that stirs the spirit as Rob da Bank has put together a superb mix of music and artists on this 2 CD set and recommend it to anyone interested in the ethos or genre of modern festivals, you will not be disappointed, a modern classic buy it and enjoy.
